Wedding Day FAQ’s

  • What should I wear?

    The dress code we have chosen is Black Tie Optional. Some suggestions for Women, either a formal evening gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates. For Men, a tuxedo is welcomed, but not required – a nice suit works too.

  • Will events be taking place indoors or outdoors?

    Our ceremony will be taking place outside if weather permitting. We suggest bringing a light jacket for your comfort! The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.

  • Can I bring my kids / a plus one?

    Although we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to a limited venue capacity we are unable to accommodate everyone. All seats we have reserved in your honor will be on the formal invitation. Thank you for understanding!

  • Is there a hotel block?

    Yes, we have a courtesy block at the ‘Courtyard by Marriott Long Island MacArthur Airport’ hotel under the ‘Facini Calvaruso Wedding’ to use the discounted rate, please book by March 31, 2023

  • Will there be transportation?

    We have a shuttle arriving at the ‘Courtyard by Marriott Long Island / MacArthur Airport’ in Ronkonkoma, NY at 4:15pm to bring guests to Bourne Mansion in time for the ceremony. The shuttle will return twice at the end of the night at 10:30pm after the reception & 11:30pm for those who stay for the after party.

    Bourne Mansion also offers valet parking for those who prefer to drive.

  • How can I RSVP?

    We will provide RSVP cards in the formal invitations mailed to your home with the number of seats we have reserved in your honor. Please indicate the names of those attending along with the number. You can also email us at futuresl.calvaruso@gmail.com if you prefer.

  • What time does the ceremony start?

    The ceremony starts promptly 5pm, we ask that guests arrive a few minutes early to take their seats and settle in.

    For seating arrangements, you may choose a seat - not a side, as we will all be family after the knot is tied!

  • I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

    We will make sure to have options for our friends and family that are Vegan, Vegetarian, or Gluten Free. If you have an allergy you’d like to let us know about please email us: futuresl.calvaruso@gmail.com

  • Will there be an after party?

    Yes, we are continuing the party at Bourne Mansion by moving from the Ballroom to the Music Room and other rooms in the Mansion.

    Stay with us for dancing, drinks, and late night snacks!

    If you are staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Long Island / MacArthur Airport, a shuttle will arrive at 11:30pm to bring you back to the hotel.
